2015 is coming near where I live. I had some time to reflect what I have achieved this year and what I want to do the next upcoming year.

First the recap 2014:

- My ex girlfriend left me and is now engage with someone else.

- Because of heartache I dropped out of university.

- Couldn't find a job because I don't have enough work experience.(If I could get a dime for every time I heard that.)

- And a good friend of mine passed away.

This is what i call a Bad luck Brian syndrome..

So its no surprise why I haven't been so super active this year on newgrounds. Yet some good things have happened. Made some wonderful friends, got a new job as a junior webdeveloper, finally could afford vacation and visit my mom. So you lose some and get some.

So! What am I going to do in 2015. Well things are shaping up lately and I have more me time. I think I want to proceed with my series YouriX Music Reviews. Also I think I am going to do a podcast and host it on my website. Where i play and review songs from the newgrounds audioportal. See where it gets me. Also I am saving up for a new car which is also nice.

Hopefully 2015 will be nicer to me and make me see the light in the darkness. Things might get tough but you get tougher. Like that cliché saying “What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.”

From my experience it's pretty close to the truth. I will not do a resolution, I will not make any promises. But one thing I will do, is try to be the better version of myself. You cant do more then that.

When i first gave myself this username i was following a trend. When i was younger X was put behind a lot of things like cartoons, movies and even on some food products. So basically it just sounded cool and I was making a lot of Drum and bass and Megamen remiXes back then. YouriX was in short Youri Extreme.

But now..

I have changed spirituality and physically the X stands now for something different. I have an X in my name for the same reason Malcom X has it.

I'll let Malcom X tell you why he has an X.

Now, I still use my last name and i haven't converted myself to the Islam (I just love bacon to much). What i did change is my music production.

Yes! An new age has begun for me. First i made Megaman remixes and then some really bad Techno songs from there i started producing DnB after that which seems natural I started making Dubstep.

My new phase in my musical adventure is now Glitch Hop, mix with some blues and Jazz. This is really new for me and I will make mistakes. But that is what makes it so much fun! I am starting from scratch discovering new things as I go along. Maybe over a year or two I might do something completely different again.

People change the YouriX from a few years ago is not the same YouriX you see before you. I might scare off some of the fan base I have now, but I need this so I can develop not only as a musician but as a human being.

And as a symbol of that I changed the color of my cd icons on my audio. Why not?

Anywho, has been a long time since i was active here. I had to do intern. So for a few months i was busy and had no time

Anyways, to be completly honest i took a small break from making The YouriX Music Reviews. Its a little flash show i made here on newgrounds where i talk about muscians that upload there music in the Audioportal. BUTT!!! I did make some sketches and junk. Even though im not really happy with the results. I think next week i'll start with animating and making it more appealing to the viewers.

Anyways im also busy making a spaking new Mini Album or EP(Extended Play). Called "Liquid Drop". The concept of the album is basicly a series of melodalic dubstep songs. Here a demo to get a feeling of what im trying to do!
